Warning to housing authority residents over bogus callers
PEOPLE living in housing authority homes are being warned to be alert after an unknown man visited a house in Cherry Orchard, Tewkesbury, and asked to be let in to check electricity.
The resident refused entry and checks have revealed no housing association officers were in the area at the time.
Residents have been advised to always check caller’s identification and to report any suspicious persons to police immediately.
