MALVERN Theatre Players are joining forces with Perfect Circle Theatre Company to give youngsters a taste of Shakespeare this summer.
The project will use the stage set of Shakespeare's famous Globe Theatre that the players built several years ago for a show, and which has been resurrected at the Coach House Theatre in Grange Road.
It follows on from the success of a recent production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at the theatre, which also used the Globe stage set.
Summer Shakespeare is a week of fun and exciting drama activities for young people aged ten to 14, culminating in a live performance.
The week, from Monday to Friday, August 24-28, will have an Elizabethan theme, so participants can expect kings, queens, clowns and witchcraft.
Young people will be introduced to basic acting skills, play lots of games and finish the week with a performance for family and friends. The project fee is £75.
