POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 15 year-old boy was hit by a minibus in Worcester.

It happened as the child was crossing the A44 road in Sidbury, near The Commandery to side of the road where Caspian Pizza is located, and was struck by the silver minibus.

The minibus stopped for a moment and then continued down London Road, police say.

The child suffered minor injuries as a result of the collision.

It happened on Wednesday, September 30, and police received a report of the incident at around 4.15pm.

Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 523s of Wednesday 30th September.
