AN angler was booked for fishing in the closed season on the River Teme at Powick yesterday evening.
Dave Throup, Environment Agency manager for Herefordshire and Worcestershire, tweeted this photo of a fisheries officer talking to the man on the old Powick bridge.
He said yesterday: "Fishery bailiffs have been patrolling the River Severn in Worcestershire this evening, responding to reports of illegal fishing."
