An e-scooter has been seized by police after its rider tried to get away.
PCSO Kevin Tudge of Pickersleigh and Chase Safer Neighbourhood Police Team spotted a youth riding the vehicle dangerously on the road in the Barnards Green area of Malvern this afternoon (Thursday).
"The youth was riding quickly on the road among traffic putting himself and others at risk of serious injury," said PCSO Tudge.
The youth tried to evade the officer but PCSO Tudge, on a cycle, was able to catch up with him.
The e-scooter has now been seized.
PCSO Tudge added: "Parents, please be advised that e-scooters can not only be dangerous when ridden in such a manner but it is illegal to ride them on the road and pavement."
