A 16-year-old has been found in possession of cannabis in Malvern.
Officers were carrying out a cycle patrol in Malvern when they spotted a teenager who was seen to be smoking cannabis.
Initially, police community support officer Kevin Tudge stopped to speak to the teen on Geraldine Road just after 3pm.
But officers ended up chasing the youth before he was stopped and searched.
Officers found him to be in possession of cannabis with other items on Friday (May 12).
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "The youth is being dealt with accordingly.
"We recognise how drugs use can have a major negative impact on the lives of young people and their loved ones.
"Pickersleigh and Chase Police Safer Neighbourhood Team are continuing to work hard to target drugs use and the supply of drugs in our Community."
