The Orchestra Pro Anima is returning to Christ Church in Malvern following a sell-out concert last spring.
On Sunday, December 3, starting at 3pm, the orchestra will be performing a programme of ‘Early for Christmas Music’, directed from the violin by the soloist Michael Bochman.
The programme is as follows; Boyce- Symphony number 1 in B Flat, Torelli -Christmas Concerto, Vivaldi-Concerto for four Violins in B minor, Corelli-Concerto Grosso in G minor, Mozart-Violin Concerto number 2 in G. Guber-Silent night and Anderson-Sleigh Ride.
On Saturday, December 2 at 7.30pm, Cradley Singers are performing Dvorak’s Mass in D at St Matthias, conducted by Kate Cheetham.
Also on the programme are some of Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzes and Ave Maria by Liszt.
