A NEW martial arts academy has been launched in Malvern, bringing kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to the town.
Experienced martial artist and coach Greg Summers opened STRIVE Grappling Academy at Malvern Link gym Rise Fitness on Saturday, with Cage Warriors star Matt Figlak also welcoming new students to the facility.
Coach Summers is hoping to foster an environment catering to both self-defence enthusiasts and competitive athletes.
The academy's timetable encompasses a range of disciplines, including kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, allowing people to progress through the belt pathways alongside learning and progressing their skills.
"STRIVE Grappling Academy is more than a training facility; it's a community where individuals can strive for their personal best, regardless of their starting point," said Summers.
"Our mission is to make high-quality coaching accessible to everyone in a supportive atmosphere that encourages growth and achievement through high-level coaching."
