CROWLE Searchers Crusaders kept up their pursuit of the Ambassador Evesham Football League Under-18s title.

The villagers won 8-0 at home to struggling Pershore Town with a hat-trick for Tim Coleman, two for Daniel Kerr and one each for James Coleman, Henry Steade and Sam Tufft.

All the goals came in the first half and the win lifted Crusaders up to joint top of the table with Wychbold Juniors.

In a fiery encounter, fourth-placed Droitwich Spa Youth won 3-2 at Welford Juniors.

The teams received a yellow card each before Youth had a player sent off for a dangerous challenge when 2-1 up.

But Spa stretched their lead and held off a Welford fightback.

In Under-15s Pool B, Droitwich Spa Tigers moved up to second spot following a 3-1 win at Wychavon Wanderers.

The Tigers cause was helped by two goals from Lucas Edmonds and one by Louis Watson in strong winds.

Newtown Sports Juniors are eight points clear of their nearest rivals in Under-13s Pool A after a 2-1 win at Moreton Rangers. Henry Smyth gave the hosts hope with a well-taken goal but Newtown replied through George Blannin and Joshua Dickenson.

Lenches scored second-half goals to beat Tewkesbury Town Colts 3-2 as Thomas Dixon, Lucas Adcock and Romeo Johnson-Williams found the net.

Welland Junior Lions earned a Pool B point at Cradley Sports as a James Hodgetts goal made it 1-1 and Harry Ferguson-Walker was their man of the match.

In the Droitwich Spa derby, Vipers came out on top, winning 5-0 against Scorpions on a bitterly cold morning. Matthew Simms completed a hat-trick with further goals from Jack Griffiths and Kyran Waterhouse. Nathan Hood was Scorpions’ man of the match.

There was a 10-goal Pool C thriller in Peopleton as Pershore Town Piranhas drew 5-5 with Meadow Park.

Piranhas’ goals came from Edwin Batchelor (2), Nathan North, Benjamin Wright and Ben Solomon.

In the Worcester Under-12s Pool A top-of-the-table derby, Nunnery Wood Colts Ospreys were held 1-1 at Warndon Villages Colts.

An Ethan Turner goal helped Villages to a point.

Alcester Town Juniors won 4-0 at home to Leigh and Bransford Badgers Orient.

Evesham United Robins took over from Oakenshaw Lions at the top of Pool B and ended their unbeaten record.

Antonio Pirelli and Reagan Martin hit the back of the Lions net.

Crowle Searchers gained a point in a 3-3 home draw with Ilmington United through goals from Ned Harvey (2) and Tom Bryant.

In Pool C, Droitwich Spa Kestrels won 4-2 at home to Broadway United Youth, with Daniel Eccleston, Luke Payne and substitute Alexander Shaw (2) on target.

Two well-taken goals from Littleton’s Hubert Pufka were not enough as they lost 4-2 at Leigh and Bransford Badgers Borough.

Worcester Colts won 9-3 at Tewkesbury Town Pumas, with Charlie Mogg hitting five goals.

Luke Ford-Thompson was the Worcester man of the match.
